Performance Art

I had a happy mother's day, and I hope all of you did too.

At one point Kai turned off the TV, brought me one of his books, and sat down in my lap. He chose a book (and me!) over TV - a dream come true! Then when I was putting Jett to bed he told me that I was his bestest mom in his whole world and that Dad was his other best friend. Man, I love those kids.
